Living in the Age of Anxiety
The first event in the "Why Do We Do What We Do? A Look into Unconscious Motivation" Spring 2025 Community Learning Series
This is a hybrid event. Participants may attend in-person at BGSP (1581 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA) or via Zoom.
Our daily lives are filled with news of many changes and stressors: financial, social, and political, as well as reports of environmental disasters, gun violence, wars. The uncertainty of these circumstances - many of which are beyond our control - can adversely affect our sense of wellbeing. Join us to discuss what might be unconsciously triggering us as we experience the world around us, and how to manage and reduce that anxiety for ourselves and our loved ones.
Discussion Leader

Psya. is a psychologist and psychoanalyst and the Provost of the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis where she has served on the faculty and in various administrative roles for thirty years. She sees people of all ages in her private practice and has published on a variety of topics.
